Distant Space

...I mean it is a working game at least

I don't know, this game has very un-engaging gameplay, seeing as how the challenge is so low and you're basically trying to spam the entire time hoping to hit an enemy. There was multiple moments where I clicked off onto my second monitor by accident because the mouse isn't locked to the window. The music gets extremely old after a while and became grating to my ears. The aesthetic of the game is neat but could use quite a lot of polishing. The power-ups really needed a tweak as they fall down cause for a while I thought they were bullets and avoided them since they are textured the exact same way. This game should really just heal you after every level, because dying will just respawn you at the level you were at anyways so if you need the HP for something you have to die on purpose. Bosses have way too much HP causing you to just zone out until they end. 26 levels is such a strange number? Seeing as the first 2 bosses came at levels 10 and 20, it would've been a lot more satisfying for the game to end at level 30.

I feel like I'm complaining too much for a game that feels like a small project that was made for fun, and I got this for free, and it's only like 20 minutes long... but hey I just review things based on my thoughts on feelings of the experience, and for what it's worth, there is a whole load of potential here that could be realised.
